Dan Kaibel
While Purpose Financial Planning LLC (PFP) has one employee, the owner, clients are receiving the benefit of many others who provide intellectual capital, support, and services beyond the ‘walls’ of the firm. Dan Kaibel, the owner, enjoys incorporating these resources in working with his clients to achieve what is important to them. Dan has over 30 years of financial services experience in many areas, including previously overseeing investments as Chief Investment Strategist at a larger RIA firm.
As a CFP, he has a broad understanding of some of the complexities that go with most financial plans. To provide a more thorough financial plan he knew there was a need to convey more clarity when it came to understanding the seemingly numerous options when it came to claiming Social Security benefits, so he obtained the RSSA designation. Additionally, for a better ‘peace of mind’ plan it was important to provide sound advice when it came to preparing for the potential of a long-term care event. The obtaining of a CLTC designation has helped to provide knowledge to clients in this potentially difficult area. Seeing that there was a need to deliver more in-depth understanding in the areas of college funding or the repayment of college loans he added the designation of CFSLA.
In Dan’s free time, he enjoys serving at His Church and growing in His understanding of the Bible. Along these lines, he ‘paused’ his financial career in 2004-2008 to volunteer in Christian ministry and obtain a Biblical Studies degree. He also enjoys following Chicago Sports even when the teams do not produce as hoped.
